Learn : To Identify and explore in more depth a New Zealand Native tree. 

We learning about New Zealand's Native trees. This is important because not only does it provide us with food and has the ability to provide us with oxygen for us, we can use it for medicine for family and friends that are in need. Which is also special to us kiwis. 

My group decided to explore and learn more about the characteristics's of the Kanuka tree.

This is our initial finding about tree. 

Sand Dunes Diorama

Learn: We are able to work collaboratively to create a diorama of plants in our  environment.

My group St Patrick's created a diorama on sand dunes, using the equipment that was suitable for making our diorama.

Something I could change : 

Always check if my whanau group is doing the right thing at the right time. Help them to participate, get along together and support one another if it's needed, agree to necessary decisions that are made in my whanau group.

Pentecost Graffiti Page

 Learn: I am learning to recall the people present at the first Pentecost and show my understanding of what I know so far by creating a graffiti page.

My Group St Patrick's whanau made a Graffiti page about Pentecost. This Graffiti page showing our understanding of what we already know about Pentecost so far.  For the background we put a picture of St Patrick's and added words were related to Pentecost and what happened during Pentecost.

The reason why we chose St Patrick as our saint name for our whanau group is because he spread Christianity in Ireland and we want to do the same.
